Open-air theater: The Doctor in Spite of Himself (Molière)

The FACE B Prod’ theater company—Théâtre Petit Comme un Caillou—takes over the main courtyard, in the heart of the Faculty of Medicine, to perform a classic by Molière: “The Doctor in Spite of Himself.”
Parodying the medical practices of the time and poking fun at certain situations, this play has not aged a bit since its first performance in 1666. Spectators seated outdoors on either side of the stage will enjoy a popular production, reminiscent of sensational fairground shows. Both classic and modern, this theatrical performance will delight all audiences in an exceptional setting magnified by the colors of the late afternoon.
This event is organized by the Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole Tourist Office and Convention Bureau, in partnership with the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Montpellier.
