All digital: an enviable story for global health?

In this presentation, Françoise Berthoud will give a brief overview of the direct environmental impacts of digital technology, then broaden the subject to include the indirect effects of digital technology, using examples. Her remarks will be illustrated by the interplay between legislators, manufacturers, governments, users, etc., and we will see how all this can lead us to solutions to environmental crises, or not.

Françoise Berthoud is a specialist in the environmental impacts of digital technology, co-creator ofthe Inria MOOC andco-founder of the GDReco-infoon these subjects, engineer and coach at the CNRS, at the University of Grenoble Alpes.
