All digital: an enviable story for global health?

In this talk, Françoise Berthoud will give a brief overview of the direct environmental impacts of digital technology, then extend the subject to the indirect effects of digital technology, using examples. Her remarks will be illustrated by the interplay between legislators, manufacturers, governments, users, etc., and we'll see how all this can lead to solutions to environmental crises, or not.

Françoise Berthoud is a specialist in the environmental impacts of digital technology, co-creator of the Inria MOOC and co-founder of the GDR éco-info on these subjects, engineer and coach at CNRS, Grenoble Alpes University.
