Welcome Week 2024 international students

Welcome Week is organized as part of the welcome days for new students (JANE), but also as part of the continuous improvement of the welcome of international students and the "Welcome to France" label. The 2024 edition is the 5th edition, the first being in 2019.

On average, Welcome Week attracts between 300 and 500 students to all activities, with over 80 nationalities represented in previous editions.

Activities are spread over 3 days:

• Tuesday, September 24 (evening) - French evening at the Jardin des Plantes (in front of the orangery):
  • arrival of participants and distribution of goodies at 5:30pm,
  • speech by the University President at 6pm, followed by various activities.
    Ends around 10pm.
• Thursday, September 26 (evening) - International karaoke in Eurovision format.
  Burnout Bar - avenue du Pont Juvénal, Montpellier.
  From 8.30pm to midnight.
• friday september 27 - solidarity flea market organized by Mouvement Circulaire Etudiant (MCE), the association resulting from the European UNI-ECO project, will redistribute small furniture/appliances/dishes collected from outgoing students last year to new students at free prices.
  From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in front of Space on the Triolet campus.
