A Great Year forUM Athletes
On December1, the University of Montpellier celebrated the student athletes who proudly represented the university at the French University Championships. This year, the university won a total of 35 medals across all categories, including twelve gold medals. Profiles of the champions.

Once again this year, the University of Montpellier gathered its top male and female athletes at the “Bulle” gymnasium in the La Motte-Rouge sports center. It was an opportunity for everyone to look back together on the achievements of the past season.UM was a fantastic season forUM nearly 130 students taking the podium at the French University Championships—earning a total of 35 medals—across a wide range of sports (see box).
About a hundred athletes made the trip to pick up their gifts—symbolic tokens of the pride they have inspired at the University—before posing for the traditional photo. And even though the cold weather also made an appearance at the celebration, the atmosphere was more than warm.
