A great haul for the athletes of theUM

Once again this year, the University of Montpellier brought together its top athletes at the “Bulle” gymnasium in the La Motte-Rouge sports center. It was an opportunity for everyone to look back together on the achievements of the past season. It was a fantastic season for the “UM ,” with nearly 130 students standing on the podiums at the French University Championships—earning a total of 35 medals across a wide range of sports (see box).
About a hundred athletes made the trip to pick up their gifts—symbolic tokens of the pride they’ve inspired at the University—before posing for the traditional photo. And even though the cold weather joined the celebration, the atmosphere was more than warm.
