The IDIL Graduate Program at SFRI’ Day: a highlight for graduate programs in France
In March 2025, a delegation from the University of Montpellier representing the IDIL program attended SFRI’ Day, held at Paris-Saclay University.
This event brought together the 19 universities selected through the “SFRI” (Structuring Education through Research Excellence Initiatives) call for proposals, organized by the French National Research Agency (ANR) and supported by the France 2030 program. It was a pivotal gathering for “education through research.”
Following a 180-second presentation of each program—covering its progress, experiences, and goals—thematic workshops provided an opportunity to discuss topics such as national and international appeal, ensuring the long-term viability of research-based training initiatives, and the development of the PhD track.
