The University of Montpellier’s Open House will take place on March 2, 2024

On March 2, the entire academic community and dedicated departments at the University of Montpellier will come together to provide guidance, advice, and answers to questions from high school students, college students, and working professionals seeking information about the University of Montpellier’s academic programs. All teams will also be on site to showcase the excellence of the university’s master’s programs, the skills acquired by graduates, the careers they pursue after graduation, and the high level of qualification in all fields of study.

The Open House in a Nutshell

Across its various campuses, the public will have the opportunity to explore more than 650 programs offered by the University of Montpellier in law, economics, business, health, science, education, and technology—through traditional degree programs, apprenticeships, and continuing education. These open house events will provide an opportunity to showcase the 17 faculties, schools, and institutes through campus tours, visits to university libraries, and tours of student housing. The goal of this event is to engage with the entire university community, which is mobilized to answer questions about academic programs and student life at the university.

Open house events make it easier to make a decision in a less abstract way: the entire university community comes together to answer questions, address concerns, and offer advice. Faculty members will be there, of course, but so will students who will share their recent experiences. It’s also an opportunity to visit innovative learning spaces and attractive campus facilities.

The full range of academic programs is presented during these open house events, from the first year through to the master’s degree: for high school students, this helps them envision long-term academic paths, and for those already in higher education, it allows them to plan their next steps by speaking with program directors.
