IDIL Interdisciplinary Day 2025: A Day at the Heart of Interdisciplinarity

On March 8, 2025, the latest edition of IDIL Interdisciplinary Day brought together undergraduate and graduate students from the IDIL Graduate Program around a shared goal: to share their work, exchange ideas, and highlight the interdisciplinary approach that is the program’s strength.

The morning session highlighted five paired dissertations presented by doctoral students and their co-advisors, offering a concrete overview of the research being conducted within the program. It continued with ten presentations of multidisciplinary projects led by Master’s 2 students, illustrating the diversity of approaches developed within IDIL.

The afternoon featured two transdisciplinary discussions led by the students, focusing on threatened biodiversity and the role of researchers in times of transition. A panel of invited researchers participated in these discussions, highlighting the quality of the ideas presented.

A social gathering finally gave participants the opportunity to continue their discussions and strengthen ties within the IDIL community.
