UM for "Montpellier, the Queen"
Seventy staff members from the University of Montpellier represented the university at the famous “La Montpellier Reine” race. Running to fight breast cancer and donating proceeds to local organizations: that’s the idea behind this fun charity race, which takes place every year on Mother’s Day.
The event is growing in popularity: this year, 6,000 runners took to the starting line at Le Peyrou. Among them were 70 staff members from the University of Montpellier. To support this initiative, theUM Campus Life DepartmentUM together a team for this 4.5-km race through the streets of Old Montpellier.
