UM , the queen of Montpellier, is running
Seventy staff members from the University of Montpellier represented the university at the famous “La Montpellier Reine” race. Running to fight breast cancer and donating the proceeds to local organizations: that’s the idea behind this fun charity race, which takes place every year on Mother’s Day.
The event is growing in popularity: this year, 6,000 runners took off from the Peyrou starting line. Among them were 70 staff members from the University of Montpellier. To support this initiative, the Campus Life Department of theUM put together a team for this 4.5-km race through the streets of Old Montpellier.
