The University of Montpellier is organizing the "5 minutes to convince" competition.
From February 2 to 5, 2026, the SCUIO-IP career services office at the University of Montpellier is organizing the "5 Minutes to Convince" competition. The goal is to reward students who give the best presentation of their career plans to a jury of specialists from the socio-economic world and higher education. Also worth noting: a round table discussion on entrepreneurship led by Romain Lévy, a project support specialist, with Pierre Alzingre in attendance.
Project support and gift cards to be won
The "5 minutes to convince" competition allows students from the University of Montpellier to present their projects to a jury of experts from the professional and academic worlds. There are two categories:
- "Professional project" category: as part of a search for an internship, work-study program, or job, or a plan to continue studies or move abroad.
- "Entrepreneurship" category: as part of a project to start a business, association, or resume activity (business, association, cooperative, etc.).
After each presentation, the jury provides personalized feedback on form and content to help candidates strengthen their presentation and refine their career plans. The prize: a gift card and dedicated support.
- For the "professional project" category, prizes are offered by Hays or Adoc Talent Management, a firm specializing in doctoral careers.
- For the "entrepreneurship" category, support is provided by the CPME, SATT AxLR, and PEPITE-LR.
"From idea to project: succeeding in business despite uncertainty"
