The University of Montpellier is organizing the “5 Minutes to Convince” contest
From February 2 to 5, 2026, the SCUIO-IP Career Services Office at the University of Montpellier is organizing the “5 Minutes to Convince” competition. The goal is to recognize students who deliver the best presentation of their career plans to a jury composed of experts from the socio-economic sector and higher education. Also of note: a roundtable discussion on entrepreneurship moderated by Romain Lévy, a project support specialist, and featuring Pierre Alzingre.
Win project support and gift cards
The "5 Minutes to Convince" competition gives students at the University of Montpellier the opportunity to present their projects to a jury of experts from the professional and academic worlds. There are two categories:
- "Career Plans" category: for those seeking an internship, a work-study program, or a job, or planning to continue their studies or study abroad.
- "Entrepreneurship" category: as part of a project to start a business, form an association, or take over an existing business (company, association, cooperative, etc.).
After each presentation, the jury provides personalized feedback on both form and content to help candidates refine their presentation and clarify their career goals. The prize: a gift card and dedicated support.
- For the "Career Development" category, the awards are presented by Hays or Adoc Talent Management, firms specializing in career services for doctors.
- For the "entrepreneurship" category, support is provided by the CPME, SATT AxLR, and PEPITE-LR.
