More than 2,000 gardens throughout France are opening their doors to the general public! On Friday 3 and Saturday 4 June 2022, the Jardin des plantes de Montpellier invites you to discover its treasures.

Friday 3rd June

  • 13:00: "The bee and the human in 2022" by Jean-François FAUVEAU and the APIS SCHOLA association
  • 1.30 pm: "General visit" by Emmanuel SPICQ.
  • 14:00: "To be or not to be in an English garden, that is the question" by Ludovic RIOUX and Jean Louis TALAVERA.
  • 2.30 pm "The collections of the Jardin des Plantes" by Didier MORISOT.
  • 15:00 "Strategies and adaptations of plants to the climate" by Denis NESPOULOUS.
  • 16h00 : " Aromatics and the 5 senses squares " by Jean Louis TALAVERA

Saturday 4 June

  • 1.30 pm: "To be or not to be in an English garden, that is the question" by Ludovic RIOUX and Jean Louis TALAVERA.
  • 2.00 pm: "A walk through history and ecology" by Denis NESPOULOUS.
  • 14:15: "The bee and the human being in 2022" by Jean-François FAUVEAU and the APIS SCHOLA association
  • 14h30: "The Martins greenhouse and its collection of succulents" by Emmanuel SPICQ.
  • 15h00: "Aromatics and the 5 senses squares" by Jean Louis TALAVERA.
  • 3.30 pm: "Strategies and adaptations of plants to the climate" by Denis NESPOULOUS.
  • 16:00: "The bee and the human in 2022" by the APIS SCHOLA association
  • 16:30: "General visit" by Emmanuel SPICQ

All tours depart from the municipal guard's lodge on Boulevard Henri IV.
The maximum number of visitors for each tour is limited to 25 people.
