An evening in the garden celebrating the scientific culture and historical heritage of the University of Montpellier

As every year, on Monday September 11, 2023, starting at 6pm, the UM will be holding its traditional "soirée au Jardin" to present a new season of events focusing on scientific culture and historical heritage. Philippe Augé, President of the University of Montpellier, Agnès Fichard-Carroll, Vice-President in charge of training and university life, Isabelle Parrot, vice-president in charge of science-society relations and Thierry Lavabre-Bertrand, vice-president in charge of historical heritage and director of the Jardin des Plantes.

More events to come!

From September to December at the UM, you'll be able to attend a wide range of events, which will be presented in detail at an evening event at the Jardin des Plantes on September 11.

• Exhibition "Street sciences, plus verte la ville!" proposed by the University of Montpellier, from May 24 to October 19, 2023 at the Jardin des plantes de Montpellier;

• European Heritage Days on September 15 and 16, 2023;

• Sciences en images : la vie est belle!" exhibition to mark the 20th anniversary of the Montpellier Ressources Imagerie (MRI) technology platform, from September 28 to October 31, 2023 at the Jardin des plantes in Montpellier;

• Sciences de nuit: An invitation to discover research in all fields of science on September29 from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm at Montpellier's Médiathèque Centrale Emile Zola;

• +/- 1.5°" exhibition, in partnership with ESBA-MOCO from September 30 to October 11, 2023, Tuesday to Sunday, 2pm to 6pm at the Orangerie du Jardin des Plantes, Montpellier;

• ^32nd Fête de la science 2023 on the theme "Sport and Science" from October 6 to 16, 2023 with the opening of the Science Village at the Faculty of Education and the exceptional opening of the Palais universitaire des sports Veyrassi on October 7 and 8 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm;

• Prototypes: from experimentation to innovation" exhibition from October 3 to December 30 at the Capendu media library (Aude), in partnership with the University of Toulouse (PATSTEC mission);

• ^6th edition of Sud de sciences, the scientific film festival supported by the University of Montpellier and its partners from November 29 to December 03, 2023, with the Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole network of media libraries.
