Charles Coulomb Laboratory (L2C)

UMR 5221

The L2C is a physics laboratory distinguished by the fact that, within a single unit, it brings together a wide range of expertise—from the most mathematically oriented theoretical physics to physical chemistry and biophysics—with a strong foundation in fundamental research focused on condensed matter and nanoscience.

A significant portion of L2C’s activities is focused on applications, which take the form of patents, industrial collaborations, and even the creation of startups.
L2C’s activities are increasingly positioned at the intersections of chemistry, biology and health, and agronomy.
