Activities and Objectives of the Association Plume! is a student association that produces and disseminates scientific culture to the general public. Its approaches are complementary: to inspire, promote, and highlight the dissemination of knowledge among young scientists. To this end, the association publishes the monthly magazine *Plume!*, which discusses science in language that everyone can understand. It also organizes training sessions for undergraduate and graduate students to introduce them to the art of communicating their research to a general audience. Activities and Objectives of the Association The Objectif Terre association brings together undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students in earth and water sciences at the University of Montpellier. Objectif Terre supports students in their academic lives through group purchases of supplies and by providing past exam papers. The association also organizes various events, such as parties, happy hours, and trips. To foster a strong sense of community among its members, the association publishes a newsletter called “Géoscoop” and designs a T-shirt every year.

Overview Opened in 1968, the IUT de Nîmes offers technical and vocational training programs tailored to local and regional needs. As a major socio-economic player in the Languedoc-Roussillon region, the institute has awarded more than 20,000 degrees since its founding. A true incubator for multidisciplinary initiatives (space technology, accessibility, electric vehicles, FABLAB, innovative materials), the Nîmes IUT offers a project-based educational approach. These programs provide students with a solid foundation in economic analysis, quantitative methods, and the social sciences, while developing skills that are in high demand across many sectors. At the Master’s level, the program offerings are structured around two specializations: Money, Banking, Finance, and Insurance (MBFA), comprising several specialized tracks: actuarial science, banking risks, market risks, financial engineering, and information systems. Economics, featuring numerous tracks covering the major fields of economics: energy economics, environmental economics, development economics, digital economics, public economics, health systems, behavioral economics, governance, and public policy. The programs offered by the Faculty of Economics are distinguished by a strong professional focus (internships, projects, and apprenticeships for several tracks), close ties to research, and excellent career outcomes. Over the centuries, the “University of Law”—which became the “School of Law” and then the “School of Law and Political Science” in Montpellier—has remained true to its original mission.
