As holder of the Chair of Inorganic Chemistry at Heidelberg University and director of the Institute of Inorganic Chemistry, Lutz Gade has, over the years, established himself as a world-renowned expert in his field. Having previously focused on the impact of human activities on marine biodiversity, David Mouillot is now examining the potential role of coastal marine resources in reducing human poverty. A professor at the University of Montpellier and a researcher at the Marbec laboratory, he has just been awarded an ERC Advanced Grant to conduct transdisciplinary research on this new topic.
