The Clinical Phonetics Conference (10th JPC) brings together approximately 100 researchers, clinicians, and phoneticians from the French-speaking community (France, Belgium, Switzerland, Canada, etc.) every two years to discuss the mechanisms of speech production and perception in both typical and pathological contexts.

Bringing together experts, young researchers, and students from clinical fields (ENT specialists, phoniatrists, speech-language pathologists, audiologists/hearing aid specialists, psychologists) and the language sciences (phoneticians), these conferences address issues related to speech and voice in children and adults—whether healthy or with disorders—and promote the exchange of knowledge and new collaborations.

These multidisciplinary conferences also provide young researchers with a platform to present their work, receive feedback, and attend lectures, thereby enriching their academic and professional development.
