What does effective hybrid learning look like in practice?

The University of Montpellier, as a member of the European CHARM-EU alliance, is pleased to invite you to a session focused on hybrid teaching practices (synchronous instruction with both in-person and online students), organized as part of the CHARM-EU hackathon on July 1, 2025, at the University of Würzburg.

During the session on July 1, several CHARM-EU faculty members will share their proven hybrid teaching methods, highlighting the tools, activities, and approaches that have proven effective with students in the CHARM-EU Global Challenges for Sustainability master’s program. Each presentation will be followed by a discussion period. This session aims to encourage the exchange of best practices, mutual inspiration, and the search for concrete solutions to the challenges of hybrid teaching.

CHARM-EU brings together nine European universities around a joint educational initiative based on the principles of challenge-based learning, accessibility, research, and mobility. The Global Challenges for Sustainability master’s program, led by the alliance, embodies this innovative approach to higher education.

Target audience

All faculty and academic staff at the University of Montpellier who are interested in hybrid teaching and the CHARM-EU educational approach are welcome to attend.
