Innovation After-Work 2025: Montpellier’s PUI, a springboard to innovation for students

The University of Montpellier, the lead institution of the Montpellier University Innovation Cluster (PUI), invites researchers, doctoral researchers, undergraduates, faculty researchers, Professors, and educators, as well as stakeholders from the socio-economic sector, to the 6th edition of its Innovation Afterwork event on July 8, 2025, at the Orangerie in the Jardin des Plantes.

Titled “The Montpellier PUI: A Springboard to Innovation for Students,” this event will be hosted by News Tank Education & Research, with Michaël Delafosse, mayor of Montpellier and president of Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole.
This new edition will highlight the PUI’s initiatives aimed at supporting and encouraging innovation among students and doctoral researchers Montpellier campus.

5:30 p.m.
- Welcome and meeting with Montpellier-based incubators:the UM’s Initium incubator,the Montpellier University Hospital’s innovation accelerator, BIC de Montpellier, AgroVallée Incubation, and SATT Ax-LR’s TTM Factory
From 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Roundtable Discussion: “The Montpellier University Hospital: Practical Tools to Support Students and doctoral researchers
- Award Ceremony forthe 7 Innovation Awards: one award for each of the University of Montpellier’sresearch clusters, a Special Jury Prize, and an award presented byMontpellier Méditerranée Métropole.
- Signing of a partnership agreement between the University of Montpellier, SATT AxLR, and Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole.
