Afterwork Innovation 2025: Montpellier University Hospital, a springboard for innovation for students

The University of Montpellier, leader of the Montpellier University Innovation Cluster (PUI), invites researchers, doctoral researchers, students, teacher-researchers, Professors, teachers, and socio-economic stakeholders to the 6th edition of its Innovation Afterwork event on July 8, 2025, at the Orangerie du Jardin des Plantes.

Entitled "The Montpellier PUI, a springboard for innovation for students," this edition will be hosted by News Tank Education & Research, in the presence of Michaël Delafosse, mayor of Montpellier and president of Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole.

This new edition will highlight the PUI's actions aimed at supporting and encouraging innovation among students and doctoral researchers Montpellier site.

Program

5:30 p.m.

• Welcome & meeting with Montpellier incubators:the UM's Initium incubator,the Montpellier University Hospital's innovation extractor, Montpellier BIC, AgroVallée Incubation, and SATT Ax-LR's TTM Factory.

From 6pm to 8pm

• Round table discussion: “The Montpellier University Student Support Service (PUI): practical tools to support students and doctoral researchers
• Presentation ofthe 7 Innovation Awards: one award for each UMresearch center, one Coup de Cœur award, and one award presented byMontpellier Méditerranée Métropole.
• Signing of a partnership agreement between the University of Montpellier, SATT AxLR, and Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole.
