This 30-minute documentary, filmed in the Grand Pic Saint Loup region, explores intimate and unique relationships where kindness, bitterness, selflessness, exhaustion, opportunities, constraints, guilt, and love intertwine… Nine caregivers and seven of their loved ones—mother-son or mother-daughter pairs, husband-wife or wife-wife pairs—share their stories and offer an authentic and sensitive glimpse into their daily lives.

How does one become a caregiver? What is it like to be the person receiving care? How does the unique relationship between caregiver and care recipient change as dependency increases?

 There are 11 million caregivers in France. By 2030, one in four working adults will be a caregiver.

 Starring:

  • Pauline Orain, filmmaker and co-founder of the organizationNos mémoires vives;
  • Aurore Millet, neuropsychologist for France Alzheimer;
  • and one of the protagonists of the documentary
