Things are heating up among scientists

Scientists have been warning us for years about the environmental crisis. But the practice of research itself is far from being eco-friendly or sustainable! What do they have to say in response to that? Does it even make sense to conduct research today?

The exhibition is organized into several sections, and there’s something for everyone: an introduction that frames the issue, statistics on the carbon footprint of research, the debates these issues raise, initiatives that go beyond these intractable problems, the interviewees’ visions of ideal research, as well as books, comics, podcasts, and songs to explore the topic further. Not to mention the messages left by scientists for visitors—and a space for you to leave one of your own!
