Renewable Heat: Innovation Priorities for Addressing the Challenges of Decarbonization
This event has already taken place!
Accelerating and making renewable heat more widely available is key to addressing one of the greatest challenges of decarbonization—not only in homes and offices but also in industry, where heat accounts for the majority of energy needs. By investing heavily in renewable heat, alongside electrification, we are strengthening our country’s energy sovereignty and resilience.

To successfully make this transition, it is essential to innovate in order to make heat storage solutions and facility management even more competitive with fossil fuels.
The AD’OCC agency, a partner of the University Innovation Hub, is organizing a special event on June 26 dedicated to renewable heat and innovations in this field, to address the challenges of decarbonization. On this occasion, laboratories and startups from Occitanie committed to the energy transition will present their innovative solutions and discuss the sector’s major challenges: the integration of renewable heat technologies, thermal storage, and the opportunities offered by various existing technologies.
