Renewable Heat: areas of innovation to meet the challenges of decarbonization
This event has passed!
Accelerating and democratizing the deployment of renewable heat is one of the greatest challenges of decarbonization in homes, offices, and industry, where heat accounts for the majority of energy needs. By investing heavily in renewable heat, in addition to electrification, we are strengthening our region's energy sovereignty and resilience.

To successfully make this transition, it is essential to innovate in order to make heat storage solutions and facility management even more competitive with fossil fuels.
The AD'OCC agency, a partner of the University Innovation Cluster, is organizing a special day on June 26 dedicated to renewable heat and its innovations, in response to the challenges of decarbonization. On this occasion, laboratories and startups from Occitanie involved in the energy transition will present their innovative solutions and discuss the major challenges facing the sector: hybridization of renewable heat technologies, thermal storage, and the prospects offered by the various existing technologies.
