The extraordinary destiny of the three African-American women scientists who enabled the United States to take the lead in the conquest of space, thanks to the launch into orbit of astronaut John Glenn. Kept in the shadow of their male colleagues, and in a country plagued by profound inequalities, their long-ignored story is finally brought to the screen.
