The extraordinary story of the three African-American women scientists who helped the United States take the lead in the space race by sending astronaut John Glenn into orbit. Kept in the shadows of their male colleagues and in a country plagued by deep-seated inequalities, their long-overlooked story is finally being brought to the screen.
