The Cin’éthique project is the result of a collaboration between medical students in Montpellier and the Occitanie Regional Ethics Reflection Space.
The aim of this project is to encourage ethical reflection on health issues by comparing clinical reality with artistic representation. The principle is simple: a film followed by a conference-debate on a health topic addressing ethical considerations, comparing the points of view of different perspectives: doctors, patients, members of civil society.
The event is free and open to everyone.
For this session, the film screened will be "Patients" (F. Marsaud and T. Idir – 2017), followed by a discussion on the theme of "Disability and society: recognition after chaos and lockdown," bringing together a panel of various actors affected in one way or another by this issue:

  • Prof. I. Laffont (Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation – Montpellier University Hospital)
  • Dr. A. Gelis (Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation – Propara Center)
  • Ms. S. Liautaud (patient therapeutic education coordinator – Propara center)
