The Cin'éthique project is the fruit of collaboration between Montpellier medical students and the Espace de Régional de Réflexion Ethique Occitanie.
The aim of this project is to encourage ethical reflection on healthcare issues by bringing together clinical reality and artistic representation. The principle is simple: a film followed by a conference-debate on a health-related theme, tackling ethical reflections by confronting the points of view of different backgrounds: doctors, patients, members of civil society.
The event is free and open to all.
For this session, the film screened will be "Patients" (F. Marsaud and T. Idir - 2017), followed by a discussion on the theme of "Disability and society: re(con)birth after chaos and confinement", bringing together a panel of different players affected directly or indirectly by this issue:

  • Pr. I. Laffont (Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine - CHRU Montpellier)
  • Dr. A. Gelis (Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation - Centre Propara)
  • Mrs. S. Liautaud (Therapeutic patient education coordinator - Propara center)
