As part of the lecture series “Feed, Protect, and Care,” Cosciences announces a radio conference featuring a special appearance by Pierre Rabhi. This event is co-organized by Cosciences, a Montpellier-based association dedicated to the dissemination and communication of science, and Radio Campus Montpellier, in partnership with Radio Aviva, RCF Hérault Maguelone, Evolt, the University of Montpellier, and the University of Montpellier’s Naturalist Group. The public is invited to attend the recording of the program, which will be broadcast on the three radio stations partnering with the event.
This conference is structured as a roundtable discussion among three experts in agroecology:

All three have experimented with and studied alternative agricultural production models and are committed to sharing their experiences, raising awareness, and engaging public authorities at the local, national, and international levels.
This event will advocate for a transition toward more agroecology while examining its limitations and feasibility. The goal of this gathering is to inform and raise public awareness about the importance and feasibility of transitioning to more sustainable agricultural production methods, as well as to foster an understanding of the impact of small, individual changes in consumption—the famous “hummingbird’s share,” a concept proposed by Pierre Rabhi.
The conference will be punctuated by short musical interludes and will conclude with a concert by singer Chloé Monin of the Montpellier-based group “Scotch&Sofa.”
