5 Thursdays for a better understanding of current health issues

Heir to the Montpellier Faculty of Medicine, which celebrates its eighth centenary this year, the University of Montpellier boasts an exceptional heritage. Today, it is a research-intensive university teeming with teachers and researchers in a wide variety of fields. To highlight these and make them accessible to as many people as possible, "Les jeudis de l'UM" 2020 offers a series of lectures focusing on health.

For this first conference in the series, entitled "Pédagogie médicale: les sentiers de l'innovation", three speakers: Valérie Courtin, Blaise Debien and Philippe Guilpain.

They will cover the training and preparation of healthcare professionals, with an overview of different scenarios, latest-generation simulation platforms and the challenges of new teaching techniques.
