Conference: “Race and Gender: Toward a Redefinition of French Universalism”

As part of both National Education and Action Week Against Racism and Antisemitism (March 18–24) and Women’s History Month, the University of Montpellier is hosting Isabelle Boni-Claverie for a special lecture open to the public.

She will propose a redefinition of French universalism to combat racial and gender discrimination.

Following the conference, Isabelle Boni-Claverie will sign copies of her latest book, “Too Black to Be French.”
