DeepTech Tour

For its third edition, the Deeptech Tour kicks off at the Jardin des Plantes in Montpellier. This tour is part of the government’s deep tech plan, managed by Bpifrance, which aims to foster the emergence of 500 startups from research laboratories each year and turn them into the technology leaders of tomorrow. It highlights the driving forces of deep tech within academic hubs to foster the emergence of high-impact, disruptive technologies.

Philippe Augé, President of the University of Montpellier, and Paul-François Fournier, Executive Director of Innovation at Bpifrance, invite entrepreneurs, students, researchers, doctoral candidates, mentors, and other innovation stakeholders to this exceptional event dedicated to innovation and the future. 

Program:

• 4:00 p.m.: Overview of the deep tech sector in the region and an introduction to Montpellier’s 2022–2023 initiatives.
• 4:30 p.m.: Presentation of the community initiatives implemented in the region.
• 5:00 p.m.: Cocktails, startup demonstrations, and testimonials from local entrepreneurs.
