Electron Microscopy for Biologists

  • Category: Seminar
  • Dates : September 21, 2023
  • Timetable: 9.45 a.m. to 10.45 a.m.
  • Location: Campus Triolet, bât 36, room 36.09 - Place Eugène Bataillon, Montpellier

Have you ever dreamed of seeing your favorite organoid or small animal model in its entirety and being able to zoom in to the nanometric scale like "google earth"? Searching for rare events in a haystack? Perform 3D electron microscopy? Or even just quantitative electron microscopy?

This is now possible in Montpellier, thanks to a newly installed electron microscope.

To find out more, the MRI team is pleased to invite you to a seminar to be held on Thursday September 21 at 9:45 a.m. on the Triolet campus, room SC36.09. This seminar will launch the official opening of the new MRI electron microscopy platform on the Triolet campus, and will be an opportunity to present the new range of applications we can offer you.

There will be plenty of time to answer all your questions and make appointments.

This new MRI platform, called EM4Bio (for Electron Microscopy for Biology) is under the responsibility of Laurence Berry, IR CNRS, assisted by Léa Robresco on a CNRS IE CDD.
