Created in partnership with the Rivesaltes Camp Memorial during an artistic residency in May 2023.

Opening of the event by Philippe Augé, President of the University of Montpellier.

Based on the testimony of Esther Senot, a 97-year-old survivor of the Auschwitz-Birkenau camp, this show offers a sensitive and deeply human approach to the memory of the genocide. It paints the portrait of a free woman who, having lived through horror and absurdity, was able to transform her suffering into the strength of life, without ever losing faith in humanity.

Much more than a simple collection of words, this eponymous show is the result of a rare and precious encounter between the memory of the unspeakable and artistic expression.

The show will be followed by a live edge.
The evening will close with a moment of conviviality.

Open to the general public.
