Opening reception on Friday, October 5, 2018, at 1 p.m.
BU Sciences, Triolet campus – Place Eugène Bataillon, 34095 Montpellier.

Like a scientist, whose study of extinct specimens is inseparable from the graphic representation that reconstructs them, Rosa Mourlam set out to illustrate the inhabitants who populated southwestern France more than 20 million years ago, long before the appearance of humans.

"At that time, Europe was populated by strange animals, small and large, adorable or frightening, cousins of groups that are familiar to us today, or extinct without leaving any descendants. Through an artistic and scientific vision, you can come and discover these animals of the past and their environment."
