Exhibition “Words in Pencil”

Exhibition of comic strips by Émilie Plateau.

A graduate of the Montpellier School of Fine Arts and currently in residence at UM, Émilie Plateau is a comic book author. As part of the week dedicated to combating LGBT+ phobias, she shares some of her most inspiring illustrations. Clear, refined drawings, brief moments of everyday life captured by the artist's pencil, which are as much intimate, often humorous stories, questioning our society's view of homosexuality.
