Exhibition: “The Voice of the Pencil”

Exhibition of comic book panels by Émilie Plateau.

A graduate of the Montpellier School of Fine Arts and currently in residence at UM, Émilie Plateau is a comic book artist. As part of Anti-LGBT+ Phobia Awareness Week, she shares some of her most vibrant illustrations. With clear, minimalist drawings, these brief moments of everyday life captured by the artist’s pencil are intimate, often humorous stories that question society’s view of homosexuality.
