Exhibition: “The Word Through a Pencil”

Exhibition of comic book panels by Émilie Plateau.

A graduate of the Montpellier School of Fine Arts and currently in residence atUM, Émilie Plateau is a comic book artist. As part of LGBT+ Phobia Awareness Week, she is sharing some of her most vibrant comic strips. With clear, minimalist drawings, the artist captures brief moments of everyday life with her pencil—intimate, often humorous stories that challenge society’s views on homosexuality.
