La parole au crayon" exhibition

Exhibition of comic strips by Émilie Plateau.

A graduate of Montpellier's Beaux-arts and currently in residence at the UM, Émilie Plateau is a comic book artist. As part of the week-long fight against LGBT+ phobias, she shares some of her most luminous drawings. These clear, uncluttered drawings, brief moments of everyday life captured by the artist's pencil, are intimate, often humorous stories that question our society's view of homosexuality.
