Exhibition: "Treasures from the Medical Collections"

The exhibition highlights medicine and physicians from four different perspectives: historical, medical, aesthetic, and literary.

Various types of documents are presented among the ninety-three works in the exhibition:

• prints and portraits,
• token medals,
• incunabula,
• manuscripts,
• printed materials,
• periodicals,
• collector's books
• poster.

They allow you to immerse yourself in various topics related to medicine, such as balneotherapy, anatomy, botany, and more. Focusing specifically on the history of the Montpellier School of Medicine, you will encounter famous figures who left their mark, such as Gui de Chauliac, Arnaud de Villeneuve, and Guillaume Rondelet.
