Exhibition: “Treasures from the Medical Collections”

The exhibition highlights medicine and physicians from four different perspectives: historical, medical, aesthetic, and literary.

The exhibition’s ninety-three works include various types of documents:

• manuscripts,
• printed materials,

• collector's editions
• poster.

They offer an in-depth look at various topics related to medicine, such as balneotherapy, anatomy, and botany… Specifically regarding the history of the Montpellier School of Medicine, you’ll encounter famous figures who left their mark, such as Gui de Chauliac, Arnaud de Villeneuve, and Guillaume Rondelet.
