Designed by Professor Mathieu Touzeil-Divina (Toulouse 1 - Capitole University), this exhibition is presented by the Collectif "L'Unité du Droit" to mark its fifteenth anniversary.
Its aim is to show the incarnations and materializations of the Law, through several themes:
- portraits of contemporary jurists ;
- headgear and costumes ;
- as well as books emblematic of the Law or highlighting the unity of the Law.
The University of Montpellier's documentation department, which is hosting the exhibition, will be presenting works by illustrious Montpellier jurists such as P. Placentinus, J.-J.-R. de Cambacérès, E. Antonelli and J. Calais-Auloy.
After your visit, mortarboard, faluche, robe, toga, epitoge or flap will no longer hold any secrets for you!
