Thanks to funding from the Fondation de France and research financed by the Total Foundation, the exhibition "Zostères, des prairies sous la mer" was born. Come and discover this temporary exhibition which will open up the extraordinary world of eelgrass beds, an aquatic flowering plant of which there are 2 species in France and in the Etang de Thau, Zostera marina and Z. noltei ! These ecosystems, recognized as very important by scientists, are under threat all over the world, and a rapid awareness of their usefulness and fragility by the general public is necessary to protect them and ensure their preservation for future generations. The whole world of eelgrass beds, from their biology to their conservation, not forgetting all the services they provide to mankind and nature in general, will be presented to you.
