Film followed by a discussion, with Fanny Sanchez, a psychologist at CIDFF (Information Center for Women’s and Family Rights) and Julie Boiché, associate professor at the UFR STAPS.

The evening will conclude with a social gathering.

Lyz, 15, has just joined a prestigious ski-study program at the high school in Bourg-Saint-Maurice. Fred, a former champion and now a coach, decides to stake everything on his new recruit. Spurred on by his support, Lyz throws herself into it wholeheartedly, both physically and emotionally. She racks up one success after another but quickly falls under Fred’s absolute control…

The discussion, scheduled to follow the screening, will aim to shed light on issues related to the phenomenon of manipulation in order to understand its underlying causes. Julie Boiché, an associate professor at the UFR STAPS and an expert on issues of violence in sports, will guide us through our discussion.
