The evening will conclude with a time of fellowship.
Lyz, 15, has just joined a prestigious ski-study program at the high school in Bourg-Saint-Maurice. Fred, a former champion and now a coach, decides to stake everything on his new recruit. Spurred on by his support, Lyz throws herself into it wholeheartedly, both physically and emotionally. She racks up one success after another but quickly falls under Fred’s absolute control…
The discussion, scheduled to take place after the screening, will aim to shed light on issues related to the phenomenon of manipulation in order to understand its underlying causes. Julie Boiché, an associate professor at the UFR STAPS who is knowledgeable about issues of violence in sports, will guide us throughout our discussion.
