Training on Public-Private Research Project Funding: An Introduction to Public Funding Programs

The Capacity Building Program, led by the University Innovation Hub at the University of Montpellier, offers targeted training in innovation and research commercialization. Through thematic modules led by experts, it supports the professional development of professionals involved in innovative projects.

On April 9, Module 1 on public-private financing will focus an introduction to public funding mechanisms. It is intended for staff involved in monitoring and identifying funding opportunities for research projects.

This session will, in particular, allow participants to:

• understand the main types of programs offered by public funding agencies;
• identify the key players in research funding;
• map out the available funding sources and the types of co-financing that can be secured.
