The Capacity Building program, led by the University of Montpellier’s University Innovation Hub, offers targeted training in innovation and research commercialization. Through thematic modules led by experts, it supports the professional development of professionals involved in innovative projects.

On May 11, Module 2 of the “Public-Private Research Project Funding” course will focus on strategies for accessing funding mechanisms. It is intended for staff who wish to better understand the funding mechanisms available in a partnership context, in order to effectively guide academic project leaders and anticipate the associated constraints.
This session will cover, among other topics:
- identifying the main categories of funding mechanisms available in the context of public-private research partnerships (ANR, Horizon Europe, RAPID, Bpifrance, the Region, etc.);
- an understanding of the selection and funding criteria based on the project's stage of maturity, the type of collaboration, and the scientific or economic objectives;
- recommendations for financing mechanisms tailored to academic stakeholders, taking into account the constraints of private partners;
- helping project leaders weigh their options among the available approaches;
- anticipating the financial, legal, and administrative requirements associated with the various programs.
