Funding for Public-Private Research Projects: Monitoring, Reporting, and Post-Funding Obligations
The Capacity Building program, led by the University of Montpellier’s University Innovation Hub, offers targeted training in innovation and research commercialization. Through thematic modules led by experts, it helps professionals involved in innovative projects develop their skills.

On October 13, Module 6 of the “Public-Private Research Project Funding” course will focus on monitoring, reporting, and post-funding obligations. It is designed for staff who wish to master the requirements set by funding agencies, ensure project compliance, and maintain rigorous management throughout the project’s implementation.
This session will cover the following topics:
- a thorough understanding of the administrative, technical, and financial monitoring requirements imposed by public funding agencies (ANR, Horizon Europe, Bpifrance, etc.);
- the use of appropriate management tools to ensure compliance, traceability, and the proper fulfillment of project commitments;
- compliance with contractual obligations regarding reporting, budget justification, and tracking of deliverables;
- anticipating compliance risks, understanding the challenges of the landlord-tenant relationship, and ensuring the project's long-term stability.
