SIM’Universités, a major political negotiation simulation game

Come join us for two days of live-action role-playing in Montpellier that will stay with you forever: SIM’Universités 2026! During this political simulation, step into the shoes of a Member of the European Parliament, a minister, a journalist, or even a lobbyist, and negotiate the future of the European Union’s food and agricultural policies! You’ll expand your knowledge of the EU, develop your negotiation and public speaking skills, improve your ability to work in a team, and sharpen your critical thinking on this important social issue.

So, are you ready to come negotiate and debate water management in Europe in the context of climate change?! This unique experience, open to all students in Occitanie, is a fantastic opportunity to learn in a fun way—and a real asset for your resume!

• Don’t know anything about politics? Does the workings of the European Union seem confusing to you? Youdon’t need to be an expert on European institutions or water management policies to participate. Once you register, you’ll have access to SIM’MOOC, where you’ll find plenty of resources to help you prepare (thematic fact sheets, country profiles, quizzes, mini-games, etc.). Friday afternoon will also be a chance to learn in a fun, group setting. And on Saturday, it’s time for role-playing!
• Are you shy? Does the idea of speaking into a microphone in front of an audience make you nervous?We’ll offer public speaking exercisesto help you get over your fear! If you’d like, some roles will allow you to participate without taking center stage.
