Biodiversity in Viticulture and Oenology

This event is organized by Institut Agro Montpellier, INRAE, and the University of Montpellier, and is part of the broader initiative of the Montpellier Vine & Wine Sciences scientific community.

This event aims to showcase Montpellier’s scientific research in the sector. This year’s theme is “biodiversity in viticulture and oenology, ” and it offers a multidisciplinary approach to these issues through presentations on initiatives developed in both viticulture and oenology.

The program will consist of three sessions:

• Biodiversity and agroecological practices in vineyards;
• Biodiversity in oenology;
• Vineyard biodiversity: shaping the future of viticulture.

and will provide an overview of the research conducted by scientific teams in Montpellier in this field.
