Biodiversity in Viticulture and Oenology

This event is organized by Institut Agro Montpellier, INRAE, and the University of Montpellier and is part of the Montpellier Vine & Wine Sciences scientific community’s initiatives.
The event aims to showcase scientific research conducted in Montpellier within the wine industry. This year’s theme is “biodiversity in viticulture and oenology, ” and it offers a multidisciplinary approach to these issues through presentations on methodologies developed in both viticulture and oenology.
The program will consist of three sessions:
- Biodiversity and agroecological practices in vineyards;
- Biodiversity in Oenology;
- Vineyard Biodiversity: Shaping the Future of Viticulture.
and will provide an overview of the research conducted by scientific teams in Montpellier in this field.
