This lecture, delivered in English by Liisa Postareff (from the Home University of Applied Sciences in Finland) and organized by the OTP will present recent advances in research on teaching approaches used by higher education instructors, with a particular focus on the new inventory of teaching approaches in higher education and the practical self-assessment tool, which is designed to encourage teachers to reflect on their practice and improve their pedagogical awareness.
The presentation will also address the practical implications for improving teaching practices and teachers’ awareness, emphasizing the importance of supporting teachers’ well-being to promote job satisfaction and the joy of teaching.
