Launch of the Montpellier branch of the Collège des sociétés savantes académiques de France

This round table, in partnership with the "Printemps des comédiens" festival, aims to launch and introduce the Montpellier branch of France's College of Academic Learned Societies, whose roles are as follows:

• networking and dialogue between member companies and associations ;
• disseminate academic work and opinions on subjects of importance to science, or concerning the role of science in society;
• organizing information meetings, debates and encounters between the academic community and political and economic decision-makers, the public and the media;
• the publication of well-argued public statements on the organization of scientific and academic life, French, European and international research, and their relations with society;
• strengthening links with similar groups in Europe and around the world.
