Well-being in education: how and why?
This event has passed!
As part of Brain Awareness Week.

The concepts of quality of life, well-being, and happiness are increasingly appearing among the arguments that guide citizens' analyses and choices in many areas. In the field of education, these concepts are very similar and reflect the same need: that of personal fulfillment and self-realization.
Well-being now occupies an important place not only in the discourse of parents and students themselves, but also among academic projects and the objectives of innovative practices in schools and among teachers.
To discuss this topic of science and society, four multidisciplinary experts will answer questions from the audience live:
- Bénédicte Gendron
Doctor of Neuropsychopathology and HR Development, Professor of Education Sciences at Paul Valéry Montpellier 3 University, Interdisciplinary Research Laboratory in Didactics, Education, and Training (LIRDEF).
- Nicolas Giraudeau
Doctor of Dental Surgery, hospital practitioner at Montpellier University Hospital, lecturer at the University of Montpellier, president of the University of Montpellier Foundation, coordinator of Montpellier Oral Health.
- Agnès Perrin-Doucey
Director of the Faculty of Education (University of Montpellier), lecturer in French language and literature, teaching of literature (Interdisciplinary Research Laboratory in Teaching, Education, and Training).
- Sabrina Suffren
Doctor of Neuropsychology, graduate of the University of Montreal (Quebec, Canada). Temporary teaching and research assistant in developmental psychology at Paul Valéry Montpellier 3 University (Epsylon psychology laboratory).
