The notions of quality of life, well-being and happiness are becoming increasingly common in the arguments that guide people's analyses and choices in many fields. In the field of education, these notions are very similar and reflect the same need for personal fulfillment and self-actualization.

Well-being now occupies an important place not only in the discourse of parents and students themselves, but also among academic projects and the objectives of innovative practices by schools and teachers.

To discuss this science and society topic, four multidisciplinary experts will be on hand to answer questions from the audience:

  • Bénédicte Gendron
Doctor in neuro-psychopathology and HR development, University Professor in Educational Sciences at Université Paul Valéry Montpellier 3, Laboratoire interdisciplinaire de recherche en didactique, éducation et formation (LIRDEF).
  • Nicolas Giraudeau
Doctor of Dentistry, hospital practitioner at Montpellier University Hospital, lecturer at Montpellier University, President of the Montpellier University Foundation, coordinator of Montpellier Santé-Oral.
  • Agnès Perrin-Doucey
Director of the Faculty of Education (University of Montpellier), lecturer in French language and literature, didactics of literature (Laboratoire interdisciplinaire de recherche en didactique, éducation et formation).
  • Sabrina Suffren
PhD in neuropsychology, graduate of the University of Montreal (Quebec, Canada). Temporary teaching and research associate in developmental psychology at Université Paul Valéry Montpellier 3 (Epsylon psychology laboratory).
