The University Innovation Hub at SITEVI 2025

From November 25 to 27, 2025, the University of Montpellier will participate in the SITEVI 2025, the international trade show for equipment and expertise in vineyard, wine, olive, and fruit and vegetable production, to be held at the Montpellier Exhibition Center.

For this edition,the University of Montpellier will be present at the joint booth titled Research, Training, Innovation: Working Together for the Vineyards of the Future,” alongside six major partners in the wine industry:the Institut AgroandINRAE, founding members of the University Innovation Cluster, as well asSud Vin Bio,the Occitanie Chamber of Agriculture, Unisson, andthe French Wine Institute.

Over the course of the three days, UM will participate in three key events showcasing its expertise in education, research, and innovation:

• An overview of programs dedicated to the Vine & Wine sector, showcasing all of Montpellier’s degree programs related to the industry.
• The Vinid’Occ Key Challenge, a flagship program led by the University of Montpellier and supported by the Occitanie Region, is dedicated to fostering innovation and supporting the sector’s transition.
• The Digital Showcase, where digital solutions and innovations stemming from research and developed to benefit the wine industry will be presented on an ongoing basis, some of which are led by the University Innovation Hub.

This participation will provide an opportunity to highlight the University of Montpellier’s initiatives and its collective commitment to supporting sustainability, the ecological transition, and innovation in the wine industry.
