Coastline shifts and variations in sand volumes are both spectacular and complex.

This lecture analyzes how sandy coastlines function, and their sensitivity to climate change and human activity. Using examples from the Mediterranean, we'll explore the creation, transformation and disappearance of coastlines, and challenge preconceived ideas about erosion and submersion.

Dive into the heart of coastal environmental challenges with Frédéric Bouchette, beach physicist and professor at Montpellier University and the Montpellier Geosciences Laboratory.
