Public-private gateways under the Innovation, Pacte and Research Programming Acts (LPR)
This event is over!
A presentation by the University of Montpellier on public-private gateways: from innovation to participation in a business start-up or in the activities of an existing company.
How to set up or take part in the management of a company? How can I contribute my scientific expertise to a company based on public research?
The University of Montpellier's Consultative Ethics Commission is organizing a presentation on the public-private gateways resulting from the laws on innovation, PACTE and LPR. The presentation is open to agents of partners in the I-SITE (formerly MUSE) Excellence Program, upon registration.
Indeed, recent legislative changes have increased the number of bridges between the worlds of public research and business. Public-sector employees now have the opportunity to create or participate in the creation of a company, and to contribute their scientific expertise, provided that the company makes use of public-sector research. Over the past three years, two laws have simplified these arrangements.
A presentation on the various existing schemes will precede a time for discussion, during which your questions will be answered.
