Presentation by the University of Montpellier on public-private partnerships: from innovation to participation in business creation or the activities of an existing company.

How can you start or get involved in running a business? How can you contribute your scientific expertise to a company that promotes public research?

The Ethics Advisory Committee of the University of Montpellier is organizing a presentation on public-private partnerships resulting from the PACTE and LPR innovation laws. It is open to employees of partners in the I-SITE Program of Excellence (formerly MUSE) upon registration.

Indeed, recent legislative changes have increased the number of bridges between the worlds of public research and business. Public officials now have the opportunity to create or participate in the creation of a business and contribute their scientific expertise, provided that the business promotes public research. Over the past three years, two laws have simplified these mechanisms.

A presentation on the various existing measures will be followed by a discussion session, during which your questions will be answered.
