International joint programs
This event has already taken place!
The Charm-EU alliance of European universities is launching a series of monthly webinars titled CHARM-ON to explore and share its innovative practices with all academic and administrative staff at its member universities. In October: Episode #2 on international joint programs.

This new monthly event provides an opportunity to bring together members of the academic community for a roundtable discussion and allow them to offer practical insights into practices aligned with Charm-EU’s educational principles: challenge-based learning, mobility, interculturality, and more. The goal is to encourage participating staff to further explore Charm-EU’s best practices and to take part in the training sessions offered throughout the year by the alliance of European universities.
On October 27, the webinar will highlight one of the major achievements of the Charm-EU alliance: joint international programs. These transnational degree programs bring together a variety of academic traditions, governance models, and cultures within a shared learning experience.
The aim is to explore the practical realities involved in the design, implementation, and sustainability of these programs: from accreditation to curriculum development, including student mobility, digital infrastructure, and intercultural collaboration. This will be done with a panel of guests, including Meritxell Chaves, Secretary General of Charm-EU; Gilles Subra, Charm-EU Project Officer and Professor the University of Montpellier; Laia Alonso, an alumna of the Charm-EU joint master’s program and project assistant at the University of Barcelona (Spain), as well as Victor G. Mihucz, a professor at ELTE University in Budapest (Hungary) responsible for creating a joint master’s program in “Global Health” within the alliance.
This series takes place on the last Monday of every month at 1:00 p.m., providing a supportive space for dialogue where members of the Charm-EU community can share ideas, best practices, and personal experiences. The next webinar will be held in November.
