Ecological transitions tested by institutional dynamics: the role of structures and trust 

The PTL Transition - Gouvernance - Société of the Pôle Sciences Sociales is organizing a conference-debate with Thomas Bolognesi, Associate Professor of Economics at Grenoble École de Management, co-author of the article published in Le Monde (September 20, 2025): "L'acceptabilité sociale des énergies renouvelables nécessite d'avoir confiance dans les institutions".

As a specialist in public water policies and the dynamics of institutional trust, he will analyze how institutional structures, forms of governance and relationships of trust influence the acceptability of public ecological transition policies.

This conference is part of the work carried out by the PTL Transition - Gouvernance - Société, dedicated to the study of social, legal, political and economic mutations linked to contemporary transitions.
