The PTL Transition – Governance – Society group at the Social Sciences Cluster is organizing a conference and discussion featuring Thomas Bolognesi, Associate Professor of Economics at Grenoble École de Management and co-author of the op-ed published in *Le Monde* (September 20, 2025): “The social acceptability of renewable energy requires trust in institutions.”

As an expert in public water policy and the dynamics of institutional trust, he will analyze how institutional structures, forms of governance, and relationships of trust influence the acceptability of public policies for ecological transition.

This conference is part of the research conducted by the PTL Transition – Governance – Society program, which is dedicated to the study of social, legal, political, and economic changes associated with contemporary transitions.
